President Bola Tinubu says he will continue to support and implement policies that would help to transform the Niger Delta region.
President Tinubu stated this during the twenty twenty four Niger Delta summit in port Harcourt, Rivers state
The 2024 niger Delta stakeholders summit facilitated by the NDDC was an opportunity for the people of the region to discuss the way forward for the oil rich region.
President Bola Tinubu who was represented by the Senate president, Godswill Akpabio said, his administration was committment to the Developmet of the region.

Chairman of the event and former president Goodluck Jonathan, identified political interference as a major setback for NDDC underperformance in the past.
Stakeholders including state governors noted that the east west road, environmental degradation and economic empowerment are some of the challenges facing the region.
The theme of the summit is “renewed hope for sustainable development of the Niger Delta region
