The Kogi State Government has directed proprietors of private and government hospitals to contact security agencies on individuals who report to their facilities with gun shot injuries before treatment.
The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Kingsley Fanwo, made the appeal on Saturday during a session with hunters who neutralized some bandits in Yagba West Local Government Area of the State.
Fanwo said the ransom the bandits wanted to collect from their Kidnapped victims were aborted by the hunters stressing that some of the bandits escaped with degrees of gun injuries and the local hunters were still after them.
He therefore appealed to the public to immediately report any body with gun wounds to security agencies to effect arrest of the fleeing suspected kidnappers.
