Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has sworn-in new Judges of the State High Court and the Customary Court of Appeal in Owerri, the State capital.
The Seven newly appointed High Court Judges and three Customary Court of Appeal Justices took their oaths at a ceremony held at the new Executive Council Chambers of the Government House.
Addressing the Justices, Governor Uzodinma urged them to carry out their sacred duties with utmost integrity.

For the governor, the judiciary in discharging its constitutional duty as the last hope of the common man, must live above board to continue to earn the confidence of the people.
Speaking on behalf of other newly sworn in Judges, Justice Mary Njoku assured that they will dispense justice without fear or favour.
Governor Uzodinma at the event donated ten SUVs to the newly sworn in judges to aid them in performing their jobs of deligently dispensing justice.
