The Edo state chapter of the All progressives congress, APC has accused the state Governor Godwin Obaseki of being the masterminder of the Benin airport attack on which claimed one life and four other injured persons on Thursday.
The APC who also accused the state commissioner of police Funsho Adegboye of being an accomplice, called on President Bola Tinubu and the Inspector general of police to sack the Edo police police boss over his alleged role in the Benin airport shootings and to disband the Edo state security network Known as Vigilantes.

The APC campaign council spokesman Kassim Afegbua who briefed journalists at the party’s secretariat in Benin City alleged that the Commissioner of police granted cover for the thugs to carry out the attack.
Kassim said the APC has lost confidence in the Funsho Adegboye lead Edo state police command.
