John Cardinal Onaiyekan celebrated his mentee and close friend, High Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, on his 60th birthday with a grand Holy Mass and a special Papal Impartation. The event was held at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, St. Gabriel’s Chapel, Abuja on the 18th of July, 2024.
The celebration included a solemn Holy Mass, with Bishop Martin Igwe Uzuokwu, the Catholic Bishop of Minna, delivering the homily. The highlight of the event was the Papal Impartation from Pope Francis, acknowledging High Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs’ significant contributions to the church and humanity.
The event drew a distinguished gathering of clergy, friends, VIPs, and industry leaders, all coming together to honour and celebrate High Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs’ milestone birthday.
