Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullah Sule is to participate in an investment drive for renewable energy in China. This is an initiative of the Nigerian President whose delegation is been led by the Vice President, Kashim Shettima.
Governor Sule who doubles as the Chairman of the North-Central Governors’ Forum, will as part of the delegation, visit major Chinese industries on a tour of renewable energy technology manufacturing facilities.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Addra said this in a statement to journalists in Lafia. He added that the visit aligns with the aim of siting Nigeria’s first Green Industrial Zone, Evergreen City, in Nasarawa State.
Addra explained that Sule’s inclusion in the team and Nasarawa State as choice to host Africa’s first ever eco-industrial park is yet another pointer to the state’s steady progress and the enviable position attained under the Governor’s stewardship.
