The political crisis rocking Rivers state between givernor Sim fubara and the former Governor who is now the minister of the Federal capital territory, Nyesom Wike may soon come to an end as the South-South women, Northern region chapter have joined others to sue for peace.
The women made the appeal at a peaceful rally and media conference in Abuja, calling both parties to sheath their swords and prioritize the needs of the people in the state.
They said women and chikdren are always the casualties of unrest as some certain individuals always stand to take advantage of the issues to benefit themselves instead of providing solutions to resolve the situation.

The South-South Women northern chapter said they will continue to seek for peace in political terrain of all states in the South-South to avoid slowing down the development of the region .
