Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state has appealed to residents to Shun the August first planned Hunger Protest scheduled to commence next week Thursday.
Aiyedatiwa gave the advice on Friday while meeting members of the national Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
The Governor who was represented by his Special Adviser on Union matters, Bola Taiwo, said peaceful protest is not a bad action, but the latest planned protest from security reports according to the governor is targeted at destroying lives and property similar to developments in the ongoing Kenyan protests and the experiences of the Endsars protest of 2020.
The governor urged residents and Nigerians to support the Government of president Tinubu including praying for the prosperity of the country .
