President Muhammadu Buhari is to Commission the Zobe Regional Water Supply Project on Thursday 15th July 2021, in Katsina State. Also to be Commissioned, is the newly constructed Tsaskiya Road in the State.
As part of the security measure for the coming of the President, the State Police Command has temporarily announced the closure of the Dutsinma-Kankara-Dutsinma-Tsaskiya Road and banned all movements along the axis.
The Zobe water project is located in Dutsinma Local Government Area, while the Tsaskiya road project is located in Safana Local Government Area, adjudged to be one of the front line areas, bedeviled by the activities of the bandits.

This is contained in a statement by the command’s spokesman, Superintendent of Police, Gambo Isah.
He said that the movement restriction will be from 1 pm to 6 pm, saying that members of the public, especially the commuters, herders, pedestrians, and cyclists, have been directed to use alternative routes while the event lasted.
