The candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the last Kogi State governorship election, Muri Ajaka has raised the alarm of alleged plot to tag him with violent protesters in the planned August 2024 #Endbadgovernance protest in Nigeria.
The SDP candidate said in a statement on Tuesday that there are credible intelligence of plots to incite chaos and attribute such actions to him, with shirts, caps and banners.
Ajaka through the statement by his Media Director, Isaiah Ijele said he upholds the rules of law and fosters a peaceful environment for all Nigerians.
The SDP Governorship candidate who is currently challenging the victory of Governor Usman Ododo in the last election, notes that it is laughable for some political enemies to plan such unholy acts in his name against the Federal Government and the Nigerian nation.
While he dissociated himself from such activities, Ajaka called on the government to the deal decisively with those involved in any violent demonstrations originating from Kogi State.
