It was a chaotic situation in Kurudu, a community in Abuja Municipal Area Council as ‘End Bad Governance” protesters blocked the popular Kurudu junction, linking commuters to the City center and other neighbouring communities.
Many shops as well as the only major market in the community were under lock and key for several hours.
The protesters who were carrying dangerous weapons such as cutlasses and sticks occupied the major road, restricting vehicular and human movements for several hours.
It took the intervention of military personnel who dispersed the protesters, before normalcy returned in the community.
