Residents in Benin city, the Edo State capital, have called for good governance and provision of basic amenities, which will make life easy and better for the average Nigerian.
Speaking at the State Police approved location for the #EndBadGovernance and hunger protest, at the Oba Ovoramwen Square, the protesters decried what they described as the exorbitant cost of fuel, food and other essential commodities.
The aggrieved citizens called on government at all levels and other critical key players to ensure that they provide for the people a balanced economy, that will allow for quality living.
The large crowd of protesters were joined by the State Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, who called for a peaceful protest.
