Governor Abba Kabir of Kano State, North West Nigeria has declared a 24-hour curfew in the State following the degeneration into violence of the protest against hunger
The Governor declared the curfew during a Press conference held at the Government House, Kano.
Governor Kabir added that, the curfew was declared after careful consideration and review of security situation in the State.
He further directed all security agencies in the State to ensure full compliance and enforcement of order on curfew, for quick restoration of peace in the State.
