Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule says his administration has embarked on massive intracity roads construction in Lafia in order to give the state capital a befitting status.
Governor Sule said this shortly after inspecting ongoing road construction at the Millionaires Quarters in Lafia
The need for critical infrastructure such as roads for easy commuting either for business purposes or pleasure in the Nasarawa state capital Lafia has been a concern. This is aside other amenities like portable water supply and electricity which also require a boost.

The governor explained that Nasarawa State is currently attracting a lot of investment in solid minerals, agriculture and small-scale industries. His administration he noted is picking one infrastructure after the other and the current focus is on intracity roads construction in Lafia
Governor Sule adds that his administration is embarking on several infrastructural projects because of improved funding coming to the state from internally generated revenue and the Federal Government.
Some of the roads being undertaken are mostly in clusters of 2.5km, 5km and even 7km all within Lafia the state capital. The government has also called on the contractors to deliver the projects on time for use.
