Benue PDP Crisis : Group Urges NWC To Reschedule Ward Congresses In 8 LGAs

As the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party in Benue State continues to soar some stakeholders are demanding that ward congresses be rescheduled in 8 Local councils where they claimed it did not hold.

The Group under the umbrella of Concerned Benue PDP stakeholders led by Nicholas Adah equally passed a vote of confidence on the supposedly suspended State party chairman,Secretary and Organising secretary.

And Mixed reactions have continued to trail the concluded People’s Democratic Party ‘s ward congress in the State with suspensions and counter suspensions being the current state of affairs necessitating this gathering of members under the umbrella of concerned Benue PDP stakeholders.

They began by passing a vote of confidence on the State chairman, Secretary and Organizing Secretary disregarding their earlier reported suspension by the State working committee of the party.

The group goes on to commend the trio for rising up to purge the party of moles such as the immediate past Governor of the State Samuel Ortom, the deputy chairman of the party,publicity Secretary and Zonal chairman.

The PDP pressure group directs its 4 point demand to to the National working committee of the party.

For now it is obvious that 2 factions have emerged amongst the leadership of the main opposition party.
