VP Shettima, Ex-President Obasanjo To Grace Osun Industrial Investment Summit 2024

The Osun State government has said it has concluded plans to host a three-day Industrial Investment Summit in September 2024.

The State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Bunmi Jenyo, announced in Oshogbo on Thursday that Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima and former President Olusegun Obasanjo would be leading other dignities at the investment summit.

Addressing Journalists at the Ministry of Commerce headquarters, Jenyo, said the Summit is organized to drive Governor Ademola Adeleke’s industrialization Mastersplan for the State.

The Commissioner who equally noted that the aim of the sumit is also to open the State for investors in agriculture, mining, ICT, commerce and tourism.

The Summit is focusing on driving double-digit industrial investment and economic growth in the State’s senatorial districts and also providing necessary infrastructure for industrial and commercial benefits of the State.
