The Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang has assured citizens of the state of continuous engagements to improve governance in the state.
He made this known at a town hall meeting to mark the 10th day of the end bad governance protest in Jos the Plateau state capital.
Leaders of various youth groups who participated in the end of bad governance protests in Jos were present at the meeting.
The protest in Jos which drew commendations from across the country had to be called off after the fourth day when protesters sensed they were being infiltrated by troublemakers.
The protesters applauded the state government and security agencies’ cooperation, leading to the recorded successes.
They however had two sets of demands to make, one to the state governor and the other to be conveyed to the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In his response, Governor Caleb Mutfwang assured of more engagements between youths and the entire citizenry of the state in the formulation of government policies and praised the protest organisers for projecting the image of the state positively.
The organisers added that the protests have been suspended but promised to hit the streets if the Government doesn’t’
match actions with words to address the issues raised.
