The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has deployed thirty-five thousand personnel and operational equipment for the 2021special patrol for the Sallah celebration.
The deployment will be operational nationwide between the 16th and 25th July 2021 across Nigeria.
In a statement, the Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem said the special operation is to ensure motorists and other road users have a hitch-free celebration, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and security challenges in the country.

Kazeem also said Corps Marshall, Boboye Oyeyemi has directed commanding officers operating across various formations nationwide to ensure that the fifty-two corridors are properly manned throughout the period of the operations.
He appealed to motorists to obey all traffic rules and regulations and cooperate fully with the FRSC and other law enforcement agencies deployed for traffic management duties, saying Mobile Courts will be in session across the country for prompt dispensation of justice to traffic violators.
