Six out of the seven persons arrested during #EndBadGovernance protests in Akure, the Ondo State capital have been released from police custody.
Among those released is the Governorship candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC in the November 16 polls, Kunle Wizeman Ajayi, who was detained alongside other protesters during the demonstration.
Lawyer to the protesters, Tope Temokun confirmed that at 8:35pm on Sunday, August 11, six out of the seven arrested protesters were released by the Commissioner of Police, while still holding on to Patrick Owolabi, the coordinator of #TakeItBack movement in Ondo State.

Temokun vowed that they will intensify efforts to secure the release of Owolabi on Monday.
