Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia has ordered the immediate cancellation of the All Progressives Congress, APC State Executive Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 15 at the party’s secretariat in Makurdi, the state capital.
Alia gave the directive at a media conference in Government House Makurdi.
Two separate notices for the State Executive Committee meeting of the ruling APC in Benue State emerged on the social media space to hold on the same day, same time but different venues.
Governor Alia has waded in to order the immediate cancelation of the meeting scheduled to hold at the party’s secretariat which he insists that as the leader of the party in the State he is not aware of.

The Governor goes on to applaud the decision of the Council of State to pass a vote of confidence on the administration of President Bola Tinubu and restated his commitment to provide good governance for the masses.
