The Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC Limited has issued a stern warning to the public, particularly job seekers, to disregard rumours that employment slots are being sold.
In a statement released on Saturday, the company denied any truth to the claims, attributing them to fraudulent individuals seeking to exploit unsuspecting applicants.
According to the statement issued by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, the company’s recruitment process is transparent and straightforward, with no room for slot sales or inducements.
He cautioned that anyone who pays for a job in the company does so at their own risk.
The company urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
NNPC reassures the public of its dedication to fair and transparent recruitment processes, ensuring equal opportunities for all qualified candidates.
