A Mobile Police officer who was abducted last Wednesday around Kampani community in Bashar District of Wase local Government area of Plateau state has been found dead in a bush close to the community where he was abducted.
The Mobile Police officer whose body was discovered by soldiers on Monday while on Patrol in the community was until his death attached to the Special Taskforce Operation Safe Haven in Plateau State.
The deceased was abducted together with Five soldiers and one Vigilante on August 15 in the Kampani community of Wase after they were attacked by bandits while on their way from the Zurak community, but the soldiers and the Vigilante escaped the attack.
When contacted, the Spokesman for the Special Taskforce Major Nantip Zhakum declined comment on the incident, saying he has not been authorized to speak.

The OPSH Spokesman also refused to disclose the identity of the deceased, however, ait.live gathered that the lifeless body of the security personnel was discovered in the nearby bush of Bangalala, a community in Wase that shares border with Taraba state.
