Vehicle owners and operators in Jos, the Plateau State capital have continued to express frustration over their inability to purchase Premium Motor Spirit popularly known as Petrol.
Some motorists have been therefore been forced to spend nights at the NNPC Mega station, waiting for turns to secure the now precious product.
The NNPC Mega station in Jos city, happens to be the only station dispensing fuel at the official pump price of N617 per liter.
ait.live reports that it was a chaotic scene at the NNPC Mega station in the Jos metry, with long queues, traffic jams and customers often losing their cool.
While most Independent Marketers within the State capital have either run out of stock or are simply not dispensing the product, a few others are selling at between N900 to N950 per liter, leaving motorists with no option, than to spend sleepless nights on the queues.
They are calling on those in authority to come to the aid of Nigerians, as the situation and hardship in country is becoming unbearable.
Some are however hopeful that with some recent developments in the downstream oil sector, regards to possible local refining of crude, but are urging the government to speed up the process.
