Seven Days In Captivity, Father Of One Of The Abducted 20 Catholic Medical Students Pleads For Their Safe Release
Seven days after the abduction of 20 medical students travelling within the Benue State axis of the Makurdi – Enugu highway, they are still being held captive by their kidnappers.
Although a Tactical Team from the Inspector General of Police led by the State Commissioner of Police, Steve Yabanet is said to be mounting a manhunt of the abductors, the operation is yet to yield any successful result in the release of the students.
Father of one of the abducted students, Kwaghaondo Fagar who is a retiree, makes an appeal to the abductors to release the students unharmed, stating that the affected families can hardly raise the N50 million ransom being demanded.
