The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in the next month’s election in Edo state senator Monday Okpebholo has assured civil servants in the state of better welfare packages when elected as governor.
Okpebholo made the pledged while addressing large crowd of party’ supporters who converged on Benin city for the Oredo local government campaign flag off.
Oredo Local Government Area, the hometown of incumbent governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki, has a significant voting population. and the large crowd of supporters of APC and it’s Governorship candidate senator Monday Okpebholo who trooped out for the Oredo campaign flag off almost turned the venue into carnival of some sorts.
The leaders of the party joined in the celebratory mood as some members of the Obaseki’s family publicly endorsed Okpebholo’s Governorship bid.

Senator Monday Okpebholo took the stage to share his vision for Edo state if elected.
Other prominent members of the party appealed to Edo voters to support the APC candidate .
