Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of ondo state has restated his commitment to promoting empowerment of women and inclusion of the female gender in governance.
Governor Aiyedatiwa gave the assurance at the Weekend during a meeting with women from Odigbo and Ese Local Government areas of the State.
The first point of call for governor’s team is the Odigbo Local Government, where the state Government delegation led by Special adviser to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Women affairs, Seun Asamaye had an interface with the women.
Asamaye who represented Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa said women empowerment and active political participation will continue to be in the front burner of the present adminstration.
Some of the women say they will vote a women friendly Government as championed by governor Aiyedatiwa when the state goes to the poll in November.
According to the Ondo State Government, an interface like this will be replicated across the eighteen Local Government areas of the state.
