The PDP Governors Forum and members of the Board Of Trustees of the party have resolved to work with other organs of the party to surmount the challenges facing the party ahead of the 2027 general election.
Chairman of the party’s Board Of Trustees, Adolphus Wabara said this during a meeting with the Chairman PDP Governor’s Forum Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State.
Wabara said the purpose of the visit is for the BOT members and the PDP Governors to close ranks and put their houses in order as members are not happy with the current situation of the party.
Governor Bala Mohammed acknowledged the BoT’s efforts towards the party’s progress and ensuring it takes over the mantle of leadership in the country.
On the issue of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike being a member of the PDP while holding office in an APC- led government, Governor Mohammed described it as an orchestrated plan by the APC to create discomfort within the PDP, adding that as the 2027 general election draws closer,all organs of the party must collectively work together to amicably resolve their differences.
