Edward Masha has been declared the new Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State following the recently concluded state congress.
The Chairman of the PDP Congress panel in Kaduna State, Barrister Tanko Beji, announced Masha as the winner, having secured 2,123 votes.
His closest rival, Danjuma Sarki, garnered 458 votes, finishing as the runner-up.
In his acceptance speech, Masha expressed his gratitude to the party delegates for entrusting him with the leadership.
He pledged to lead the party to greater heights and to reposition it for future success.
Less than 24 hours after the election, Masha, along with other elected officials, received their certificates of return.
He promised to focus on uniting the party and addressing internal disputes to ensure a stronger and a more cohesive PDP in Kaduna.
