Another incident of farm crops destruction has been recorded in Ri-Bakwa village, of Kpachudu Community, Miango District of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
No fewer than 25 hectares of farmland made up of crops such as Maize and Irish Potatoes were destroyed on Monday night by suspected herdsmen.
The latest attack on the farmlands was said to have been carried out on Monday, 19th July at about 9:00pm while the people were asleep.
One of the victims, Ishaya Danladi, who spoke to ait.live said his farm crops valued at over #3miilion is his only means of livelihood.
While strongly condemning the attack, leadership of the Irigwe Development Association, IDA, said the destruction of farm crops which includes maize and Irish Potatoes by Fulani Herdsmen yesterday at Kpachudu Community belonging to some members of the community is a sign of looming food emergency.

In a statement signed by the Spokesperson of the Association Davidson Malison, the group urged the security agents to as a matter of utmost importance arrest the perpetrators and be made to face the wrath of the law.
Farmlands in Northern Plateau State has come under attacks in recent times by suspected herdsmen with over 70 different farmlands with grown crops destroyed.
