The Israeli Embassy in Nigeria has donated 10 Industrial Water Purifying machines to the Borno State Government to assist victims of the recent flood in the state.
The embassy made the donation in Abuja under the aegis of MASHAV, an Israeli humanitarian group and Centre for International Cooperation to assist countries striving to alleviate shared global crisis .
Israeli ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, said the gesture was a little way of ameliorating the hardship faced by victims of the flood.

Freeman, who is also also the Permanent Representative of Israel to ECOWAS said the Israeli people are devastated by the effect of the natural disaster.
Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dunoma Ahmed, who received the items, expressed appreciation to the ambassador and his delegation.
The event was attended by Malam Abdullahi Usur, Director of Relief and Rehabilitation, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA)
