Akwa Ibom Police Parade Suspected Killers Of Marine Hunters

Police in Akwa Ibom state have pararaded 12 suspects alleged to have been involved in the killing and beheading of three marine hunters.

State Commissioner of Police , Joseph Eribo who paraded the suspects at the State Police Headquarters, Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital, said they will take the fight to criminals in the state.

Parading the suspected killers of the marine hunters, Akwa Ibom state Commissioner of Police , Joseph Eribo gave details of the operation that led to the arrest of the suspects.

Other suspected criminals paraded included a young man who allegedly faked his own kidnap , suspected child traffickers, impersonators, armed robbers , cultists among others.

The new Commissioner Of Police stated that a new strategy was being adopted and that instead of waiting for criminals to strike , the Police will go after them when they receive credible and actionable intelligence.
