A new ease of life awaits the people of the Niger Delta region following the launch of the 2nd phase of the Holistic Opportunities Programmes for Engagement, popularly called “Project HOPE”, by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
The launch of the 2nd phase of Project HOPE by Ogbuku, in company of former Managing Directors of the NDDC and Commissioners for Youths of some States of the Niger Delta region,
is the implementation stage.
The NDDC boss said the project was not politically driven and called on State governments, international oil companies and development agencies to partner the NDDC, to provide sustainable empowerment for youths of the Niger Delta areas.

Over 3.2 million persons are already on the platform of the Project HOPE, which will focus on areas like agriculture, music and art, entrepreneurship, internship, maritime, under water welding, technology and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) technology.
ait.live reports that the expectation of many citizens of the region is that, the kick-off of the implementation stage of Project HOPE, will provide sustainable livelihood for the beneficiaries.
