The Governor of Ogun State in the Southwest region of Nigeria, Dapo Abiodun has appealed to Nigerians to be resilient, persevere and pray for the country to overcome the present challenges in the country.
Governor Abiodun who gave the speech at the 64th Independence Day celebration on Tuesday at the Arcade Ground, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta stressed that with the support of Nigerians, the trying times will be put behind the nation.

At the Arcade Ground were Service Chiefs, the Chief Judge of Ogun State, Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, the former Civilian and Military Governor, traditional rulers, well meaning Nigerians, among others who joined in the ceremonial activities.
