Sacrifice for the Youths now to save their future – Kwara Church Leaders

KWARA STATE
The Nigerian political class have been urged to make some level of sacrifices by shunning their extravagant lifestyle to save cost to cater for the needs of youths amidst current hardship in the country.

Two Christian leaders Segun Abejide and Stephen Awoyale while making the call at the 2024 Youth Wing Christian Association of Nigeria Annual Convention in Ilorin said, members of the political class must work fast to address the economic challenges in Nigeria to help alleviate the sufferings of many across the country.

The Christian youth leaders who called on government at all levels to act fast and take up the challenge to address youth unemployment in Nigeria, also called on members of the legislative chambers to sell their expensive SUVs and create jobs for the youths.

The leaders also want the political class in the country to emulate their counterparts in the western world by living modest life with the interest of the nation at heart

Highlights of the annual youth convention include free medical services and empowerment for youths across the 16 local government areas of the state.

The need for youths to shun social vices, and be hardworking with prayers also formed part of the discussion point at the convention to secure their future.
