The Federal Government has inaugurated a new governing board of the Nigeria Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative, NEITI, which consists of experts from the extractive industry including the civil society organization.
The secretary to the government of the federation Boss Mustapha during the inauguration charged the members of the board on implementing NEITI’s agenda and carrying out a proper oversight function.

The inauguration is coming a year after the tenure of the last governing board of NEITI ended.
