The Super Eagles of Nigeria have left for Libya for Tuesday’s AFCON 2025 Qualifying reverse fixture in Benina.

The Nigerian team who defeated Libyan 1-0 on Friday, 11 October 2024, flew out of Uyo this morning with a stopover in Kano for the Group D clash.

According to reports the Eagles’ chartered flight will land in Benghazi.

This will be a better arrangement for the traveling Nigerian contingent.

The previous plan of landing in Tripoli and then undertaking a two-hour trip by road to Benghazi would have been a daunting task for the Eagles.

Libya will welcome Nigeria to the 10,000-capacity stadium in Benina, which is 19 kilometres from Benghazi and has an artificial pitch.

Tuesdays night’s Kick-off time is 8pm.
