Terrorists operating in the forest area of Mariga local government area of Niger state have reportedly killed three people between Bangi and Kotonkoro and diverted a car loaded with loaves of bread and allowed the driver to escape.
According to a source in the area, the vehicle was conveying the loaves of bread to the market.
It was gathered that the incident occurred when the terrorists blocked the road, shooting sporadically on moving vehicles.
The terrorists were also said to have abducted two rice farmers harvesting their produce on their farm.
The source added that the incident has put the residents of the area in panic mood and pandemonium, adding that students from the community school have been asked to return home to avoid being victims.
