The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has described performance evaluation of staff in the civil service as very critical to their career progression.
He said this in Abuja, while addressing staff of the Commission during their 2024 promotion examination exercise.
Bishop Adegbite said the promotion of officers from one grade level to another helps galvanize and spur them to put in their best, adding that promotion examinations are a normal exercise in the civil service and that it is in the character of his administration to ensure that staff are motivated.
The NCPC boss further urged the candidates to always have the fear of God in their hearts. “There is nothing you can do without God, as with God, all things are possible.”
33 senior staff of the Commission participated in the NCPC 2024 promotion examination exercise.
