There was tension in imeko Afon, Local Government Area, Ogun State as a student identified as Ariyo Monday was reported dead after a teacher was allegedly flogged him to undergo a 162 frog jumps.
According to stories online, Ariyo, a student of Obafemi Grammar School died on Friday.
According to a video posted online, the teacher took a trash can to Ariyo ‘s class and instructed the students not to break it but was broken which lead to the students being punished.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Command Omolola Odutola confirmed the incident to Africa independent Television AIT, Correspondent, Niyi Maraiyesa.
Odutola said the teacher has been arrested and investigation is on going which members of the public will be informed on what really transpired in the incident because there are different stories flying online concerning the ugly incident.
Several calls by AIT Ogun State Correspondent to the Ogun State commissioner of Education Prof Abayomi Arigbabu and message to his Whatsapp contact was not answered.
