Ahead of the Local government elections on November 2nd, Cross River State has announced comprehensive security measures to ensure safe and orderly voting process.
Following a strategic security briefing led by Governor Bassey Otu, his deputy, and other senior security officials in attendance, the State Commissioner of Police, Grimah Gyogon, while speaking with journalists, emphasized that all preparations have been put in place to uphold law and order throughout the election period.
Grimah commended Cross River people for their long-standing reputation for peace, encouraging all residents to support this legacy by voting peacefully and respecting the electoral process.
Grimah expressed confidence that the forthcoming local government elections would showcase Cross River State’s commitment to democratic values and civic responsibility.
