No fewer than 25,00 youths in Anambra State, South-East Nigeria have benefited from different trainings on technical skills, aimed at preparing them for jobs in the global market.
The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Innovation and Business Incubation, Chinwe Okoli revealed this while speaking to Journalists in Awka, the State capital.
Okoli said the State government understands the role of young people in the overall development of any society, and as such has prioritised investment on human capacity building.

According to her, an Innovation Week where Nigeria’s brightest startups will address critical societal challenges in various sectors such as digital health, renewable energy, e-commerce, agritech, fintech, environment and education, among other sectors is to be hosted by the State soon.
The Governor’s aide told the Media that about N100million is to be won in various categories of the competitions by the participants, mainly youths from across Nigeria.
