Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed says he is not in support of the implementation of the National Tax Reform Bill as it will further impoverished many states.
Governor Bala Mohammed Made his position known during an annual event organised in his honour in Bauchi State North East Nigeria
Governor Bala Mohammed clocked 66years on the fifth of October and this group, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (BAM) Colloquium organize the ceremony in his his honor.
Considering the present economic hardship being experienced in the country, governor Bala Mohammed said if the National Tax Reform Bill is implemented, many state can not afford to pay salaries and discharge many responsibilities.

The Convener Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed Colloquium, Mohammed Atiku, said Governor Bala Mohammed’s many developmental strides as a one term Senator, Former FCT Minister and two term governor of Bauchi State, endeared them to organize the colloquium so as to showcase his many achievements and to celebrate him at 66.
The Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed Colloquium celebrating the Architect of modern Bauchi state @66 has as its theme ” the role of innovative Governance and sustainable practices; A case study of my Bauchi project” a document developed by the Bala Mohammed led administration to guide the execution of developmental projects.
