Zamfara government donates N15 million to families of slain, injured policemen

The Zamfara State Government has donated 15 million Naira to the families of slain Nigerian Police personnel, killed by bandits last week, at Kurar Mota, in Bungudu Local Government Area of the state.

A statement from the Ministry of Information said, each of the deceased families is to receive one million Naira, while the families of those who suffered injuries, are to be given 2 million Naira.

Already, the government has taken care of their medical bills.

The Governor said, the gesture is part of his government’s earlier promise to assist the families of the gallant security personnel who lost their lives in the course of protecting the lives of other citizens in the state.

The Government has also commiserated with the Inspector General of Police, Lagos State Commissioner of Police and the Squadron Commander, 20 Police Mobile Force, PMF Lagos, and prayed for the repose of the souls of the fallen heroes.
