Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu on Saturday visited Mera in Augie Local Government Area of Kebbi State to console the community following a recent attack by unknown gunmen.
During the visit, the Minister donated N30 million to support the affected families and aid the community’s recovery efforts.

Bagudu expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the Emir of Argungu, His Royal Highness Sama’ila Muhammadu-Mera, and the people of Mera, describing the incident as tragic and unfortunate. He prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and encouraged the bereaved families to accept God’s will with faith.
