Bauchi Healthcare: Flood victims, vulnerable public Receive free medical care From FG, MNA

The Host community of African independent Television AIT/ Ray Power, Bauchi Center has commended the efforts of the Federal government through the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Mohammed Pate and Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) as hundreds of most vulnerable in the community got free medical care amidst harsh economic challenges.

Representing the minister during the free medical Exercise at Tirwun primary school, Ashiru Abubakar, said the gesture is to meet the Health needs of flood victims and other vulnerable people in the society.

It is the second phase of the medical outreach by the Federal government through the coordinating minister of Health and social welfare, Mohammed Pate in collaboration with the NMA Bauchi chapter to the victims of the ravaging flood disaster in Bauchi state.

The medical team were in Bauchi South, identifying about four centers with AIT/ Raypower Host community as beneficiaries, the Community Head while commending the efforts said, the Interventions is timely.

About five hundred beneficiaries are targeted for free medical outreach, according to the representative of the minister.

The Exercise also witnessed free minor surgeries at the Abubakar Tafawa University Teaching Hospital as children and women who have minor surgeries after screening at the designated medical outreach centers were attended to.
