The Vice President Nigeria Gymnastics Federation, Abba Inuwa has called on Government And Other Sports Enthusiast to invest more in sports sector particularly gymnastics towards ensuring healthy living and economic development of the Society.
The Vice President Made the call during a scouting programme organised by the Nigeria Gymnastics Federation in collaboration with the Bauchi State Gymnastics Association held in Bauchi State North East Nigeria.
Inuwa and the National Coach Gymnastics Bala Juwara said the purpose of organising the event was to create more awareness on the importance of gymnastics to the human health as well as discovering young gymnast from the grassroots for Jobs Creation and economy divasification calling for collective support.
In his address, the Bauchi State Commissioner for youths and sports development salis Gamawa represented by head of planning Salisu Garba, Commended the Organisers of the event saying the programme is inline with the state government’s agenda in sports development and creation of employment opportunities.
Some participants while speaking to journalists, expressed appreciation for attending the catch them young event.
