The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations following their 1-1 draw with Benin Republic on Thursday
With the result, the Eagles will now finish top of Group D after Libya defeated Rwanda by a lone goal
During Nigeria’s match In Abidjan, the three-time African champions conceded a goal through Mohamed Tijani’s header in the first half.
But Victor Osimhen equalised in the 81st minute to earn a point from the encounter .
The result leaves Nigeria on top of Group D with 11 points from five matches.
Benin Republic occupy the second position with 7 points from five games.
Rwanda and Libya are third and fourth with 5 and 4 points, respectively ahead of the final group game.
The Austin Eguavoen’s side will face Rwanda in their last group game on Monday in Uyo.
