Aba To Host First International Trade Fair

Over 10,000 participants will converge on Aba the commercial city of Abia State for the forthcoming 2024 international trade fair, the first to be hosted in the city of Aba.

The 10-day trade fair designed to showcase made-in-Aba products and innovation will also allow visitors to shop for their business and household needs and make important business and social connections.

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Ikechukwu Emetu, during a news conference, assured participants and visitors of their safety as Security infrastructure is in place and personnel will be deployed in the venue of the Trade Fair for round-the-clock surveillance operations.

The Deputy Governor told journalists at the Government House, Umuahia during a world press conference organized to present a progress report on the preparations for the 2024 Aba International that the Trade Fair is to be jointly hosted by the Abia State Government and the Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture.
