Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has officially signed the reversed appropriation bill of N486 billion into law, aimed at ensuring the new administration hits the ground running.
The bill, passed by the Edo State House of Assembly, was presented to the governor by the Speaker, Blessing Agbebaku, alongside other lawmakers, at the Exco Chamber of the Government House in Benin City, where the governor gave his assent.

The breakdown of the appropriation reveals that N202,647,290,608.85 is allocated for recurrent expenditures, while N282,987,603,640.87 is earmarked for capital expenditure.
The governor expressed his gratitude to the lawmakers for their cooperation with the executive and the swift passage of the bill, which will help his administration deliver the much-needed dividends of democracy to the people of Edo State.
