President Bola Tinubu has described Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as a committed public servant and philanthropist.
This was contained in a congratulatory message to Atiku on his 78th birthday. He described the former Vice President and PDP presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election as an active player in Nigeria’s democratic process since the return to civilian rule in 1999 and prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to grant him health and happiness in the years ahead.
The congratulatory message contained in a statement released by presidential adviser on media and communications Sunday Dare recalled ‘special moments’ shared by President Tinubu and Atiku as founding members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), united in the mission to build a better future for Nigerians.
He also acknowledged their engagement as political opponents in the last presidential election.
